For leg pain from a pinched nerve, we combine in-office nerve testing, ultrasound-guided injections and physical therapy. Learn about our sciatica treatment.

Trigger point injections relax painful muscle knots in the neck, shoulders and back that cause tension headaches and referred pain.

For chronic back or leg pain that has not responded to other care, spinal cord stimulation starts with a trial so you can test the relief before committing.

One-on-one physical therapy rebuilds strength, flexibility and balance so relief lasts and injuries do not come back.

MLS laser therapy is a painless, drug-free treatment that reduces pain and inflammation in joints, tendons and nerves.

EMG and nerve conduction studies are done right in our office without sedation, and we coordinate MRI and X-rays, so your plan starts from an accurate diagnosis.

Meet Our Board-Certified Physician

Our team is led by Dr. Stephen Wilson, a double board-certified physician with more than 25 years of experience in pain medicine. Dr. Wilson focuses on finding the underlying cause of pain and treating it without surgery, so patients get lasting relief and better function rather than another prescription.

Our Pain Management Process

Your first visit is a thorough 1-hour intake: your history, a hands-on exam and a review of any imaging, so we understand where the pain really comes from.

Dr. Wilson explains what is causing your pain and lays out a written plan that combines the treatments most likely to help, with clear costs before anything starts.

Treatment happens at our St. Clair Shores office. Almost all injections are ultrasound-guided for accuracy, and therapy visits are scheduled around your work and family.

We track your pain, movement and daily function at each visit and stay reachable between visits. Call us and a person answers, usually within 3 rings.

As you improve, we adjust the plan, taper treatments and give you a home program so the progress holds.
